Grateful Gardening Services specializes in landscape design and garden consulting to help you create beautiful and functional outdoor spaces for everyday living. We have over 25 years of experience gardening in Western NC, with both hands on and horticultural knowledge of what plants thrive in our mountains and microclimates.
Through the collaborative effort of owners Jason Bond and Anne Kaufmann, Grateful Gardening Services works with the utmost respect for the plants, land, and environment, creating a unique experience for each and every client.

I would say what is unique to Grateful Garden Services is the vast experience and genuine interest that Jason brings to every project. Whether it is trimming, feeding, planting, or diagnosing a plant in distress, I know I can trust Jason do whatever is best for my garden. I have known him for about 8 years and when he first started my garden was just existing. Not many plants were blooming or showing much growth. Over the years under his care my garden has blossomed. Now my plants are full and show lots of new growth every year. I have lots of beautiful blooms on my azaleas, rhododendrons, and hydrangeas. It is a pleasure now to go into my garden.
What is nice about working with Grateful Gardening Services is Jason’s easy personality. He always has a gentle way of suggesting solutions to different problems. He is eager to answer any questions and share the knowledge that he has about plants. He can diagnose any disease that may affect your plants and give you good advice on how to address the issue.
His eye for landscape design is great. He seems to always know what plant will fit best in a spot and what is the best plant for that area.
When he finishes any work in your garden. He always cleans up before he leaves for the day.
